The Michael Olunga Football Academy (MOFA FC) senior team was all in high spirit as the team held their afternoon training at Dandora Stadium in Nairobi on Friday April 17 ahead of the much anticipated National Super League promotion playoffs set to be played at Dandora stadium tomorrow.

MOFA, who finished second in the Football Kenya Federation division one, clash with NSL side Fortune Sacco FC for a chance to make their maiden promotion to the second tier league.

MOFA have their eyes trained on the high octane match that will be a culmination of a successful season in the FKF division one league, a season that has seen MOFA record emphatic victories along the way to bring the season to a close second following a neck to neck race with winners APS Bomet.

In his message of inspiration, MOFA founder Harambee stars captain Michael Olunga rallied football supporters in the city to turn up in their numbers to support the team in the clash.

“12 years ago at Dandora stadium, I scored the crucial goal that won Liberty Academy the Nairobi county league. This Saturday my academy MOFA will be playing FKF National division one playoffs at the same venue. Come support our boys to earn the promotion they truly deserve” Olunga wrote on the team’s social media pages.

MOFA will play Fortune Sacco in the mid-day clash that promises to be an exciting encounter.

MOFA  have enjoyed god following in most parts of the country that they have toured for their league games this season and the new stadium in Dandora promises to come to life when the Oyugis based team descends on the pitch tomorrow, Saturday April 18 for the big clash.

The club has made a rallying call on all supporters around the capital to come out in large numbers on Saturday and cheer on the boys as they seek a ticket to the National Super League against Fortune Sacco.

“Dandora stadium is just like our home. It is located adjacent to phase four which has a lot of our support base and we are promising to deliver a match to remember.” Said MOFA coach Kassim.

MOFA will play in the national super league for the first time in their history having risen through the ranks from lower division leagues.
