Reject divisive politics, Likuyani MP Mugabe advises at Malava mega meeting Likuyani Member of Parliament Innocent Mugabe has called on Kenyans to rise up and reject divisive politics and embrace national cohesion to ensure that development is realised across all parts of the country.
During a high level engagement with residents of Malava Town in Malava Constituency, the importance of a people-centered leadership and responsive governance was at the heart of discussions where MP Mugabe rallied residents to reaffirmtheir commitment to an equitabledevelopment and national unity to ensure all parts of the country benefitfrom developmentprojects.
The voices and aspirations of the people, according to Mugabe remain the driving force behind the country’s collective agenda for transformation.
“In the spirit of broad-based governance, we continue to reaffirm our unwavering commitment to equitable development, national unity, peace, and stability. These pillars are not only essential for the prosperity of our nation but also form the foundation upon which inclusive progress is built,” MP Mugabe said.
The visit in Malava underscored a shared understanding which according to Mugabe, it is the driving factor which will lead to the distrution of development which he noted must reach every corner of the country, regardless of geography or demographics.
Mugabe emphasised that equitable access to infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic opportunities is not a privilege but a right for every Kenyan and must be availed to all Kenyans regardless of their political alignments.
“As the Member of Parliament for Lukuyani, I stand in solidarity with fellow leaders and citizens across the region to champion inclusive development. Our work goes beyond constituency lines; it is about building a Kenya where every citizen feels seen, heard, and valued. The unity displayed during the engagement in Malava is a testament to the strength of our communities when they come together with a shared purpose. Let us continue to nurture peace and dialogue, rejecting divisive politics and embracing the common goal of national cohesion,” Mugabe emphasized.
Mugabe rallied the residents that in the days ahead, they must remain focused on working with all stakeholders, local leaders, civil society, development partners, and citizens to enable them deliver tangible results.
He asserted a firm believe that a united, peaceful, and stable Kenya is not just possible, but inevitable when we all play our part.
