Human resource graduates have been tipped of going to be a force of shaping Kenya’s future destiny.
Speaking during a graduation ceremony held at the Bomas of Kenya Auditorium, the the Cabinet secretary for the state Department for Public Service and Human Capital Development, Justin Muturi said the Government believes that human resources professionals will play a great role in shaping the future of Kenya’s workforce.
“It is with immense pride and honor that I join you today in celebrating this significant milestone—the certification of 708 CHRP finalists. This day is not only a testament to your perseverance, dedication, and hard work but also a recognition of the critical role you will play in shaping the future of Kenya’s workforce” he noted.
“As Human Resource professionals, he added, you will become stewards of organizational culture, champions of employee well-being, and key drivers of productivity and success.I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the HRMPEB Board for granting me the privilege to preside over this 5th Certification Ceremony.”
He went on to say their unwavering commitment to upholding the highest standards in Human Resource practice is commendable while praising training institutions, and stakeholders for their support .
“Ladies and Gentlemen, he went on,the certification you receive today is more than a credential—it is a gateway to influence, impact, and transformation. As certified HR professionals, you are stepping into a world where your role is pivotal to the success of organizations across every sector.”
He insisted HR is no longer confined to administrative tasks adding that it is at the heart of strategic decision-making.
“You are the architects of organizational culture, the protectors of employee welfare, and the custodians of compliance and ethical standards.As a government, we recognize the pivotal role that human resource professionals play in Kenya’s socio-economic development.” he concluded.
