Sunrise Poultry Plaza has taken a significant step in supporting local farmers by establishing the Poultry Development Center (PDC).

The center aims to provide farmers with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively manage their poultry operations.

Mervis Londohn, a representative from the poultry firm, highlighted the importance of educating farmers on the science behind poultry management.

Specifically, the center is focusing on areas such as creating chicken feeder boosters and utilizing antibiotics made from local remedies.

To reach a wider audience, the training sessions are currently being conducted online through the WhatsApp application.

This allows farmers from Malawi and neighboring countries to access valuable information and training resources.

One participant, Rhoda Madula from Blantyre, expressed her appreciation for the training provided by the Poultry Development Center.

She mentioned that the knowledge gained has significantly improved her understanding of poultry farming practices.

Through initiatives like the PDC, Sunrise Poultry Plaza is playing a crucial role in empowering farmers and promoting sustainable poultry management techniques.
