Sunrise Poultry Plaza has seen a higher number of women participating in their current training program on creating chicken feed booster and Wonder water (antibiotics) compared to men.

The poultry firm is dedicated to equipping farmers with the skills necessary to prevent diseases in their birds.

Mervis Londohn, a representative from Sunrise Poultry Plaza, noted the disparity in attendance between men and women may be due to men being occupied with other activities.

However, Londohn stressed the importance of both women and men attending the training sessions in order to benefit fully.

Ishmael Assan, a recent participant from Mangochi, expressed his intentions to utilize the knowledge gained from the training to boost his profits.

He highlighted the challenges he has faced with high costs of chicken feed, leading to losses in his poultry business.

Sunrise Poultry Plaza aims to train 5000 farmers nationwide on creating chicken feed booster and Wonder water, with over 40 farmers already completing the training.

Their initiative seeks to empower farmers with the necessary tools to enhance the health and productivity of their poultry livestock.
